Buh-Bye Queer Eye

So Queer Eye is going off the air. I decided to watch a couple of the final episodes.

Yeah - I'm ok with this show leaving our world.

It is amazing to think how far Queers have come on TV.

Like, I loved the great first date on Ugly Betty last week. It made these Fab Squeeling Five seem so cliche and embarrassing.

I will miss seeing Kyan's hot face around.

Very Scary Movie... VERY! SCARY!

Sad, but funny...

Best Scary Movie?

Best scary movie? you tell me.

Betty Buckley in knee socks? Amy Irving with a middle part? Edie McClurg throwing Maxi-pads and yelling "plug it up?"

The best!

What is your fav halloween movie? or fav part of Carrie?

I Got Joni's Autograph!!

So you all know that I'm a Joni SuperFan.

I love her more than any other artist. So today was a GREAT day.

Well - thanks to a fantastic listener who helped keep me in the know, I went to her art exhibit in the Village in NYC when I was there last month.

This week my SIGNED catalouge from the exhibit arrived in the mail.

Imagine my GLEE when it was made out "To Robert"

I'm over the moon about it.

Thanks to Michael for helping flip the picture! Smoochers.

Dumbledore being gay... The Onion's view

Read this from The Onion, very funny stuff.

falling down... funny, but sucks.

So, like an asshole today, I totally biffed it. I tripped over my foot on a curb and totally fell right on a sidewalk. To make matters worse, a group of kids waiting for their bus saw the whole thing and laughed unabashed... not a great way to start the day.

R.I.P. Deborah Kerr

One of my very favorite actresses in the world died on Tuesday at age 86. I remember my mom and I watched "An Affair to Remember" and cried and cried. She was a wonderful lady and she will be greatly missed.

Deborah Kerr, the acclaimed British actress whose versatile talent and refined screen persona made her one of Hollywood's top leading ladies in the 1950s in films such as "From Here to Eternity," "The King and I" and "An Affair to Remember," has died. She was 86.

Kerr, who in recent years suffered from Parkinson's disease, died Tuesday in Suffolk, eastern England, her agent said today. (source)

I love this SO much... he can g-g-g-grab me anytime he wants... HONK!

Proud Momma... VOTE PLEASE!

So, one of my students created this short film for a contest and I need your help. It's the Speak New Words Video Contest. The point of this contest to inspire the youth (or as My Cousin Vinny would say "yutes") with positive words and images. The grand prize is $5000, so if you can take a second for vote for this film, I'd really appreciate it.

The Shared Umbrella

PS- Micah composed all the music for it which i think is super cool.

"The Secret" meets art

You guys might hear me mention being a BzzAgent in the next couple of months or so. It's this cool word of mouth campaign that my buddy David J turned me onto.

He and I were actually having drinks at a bar and he produced 3 different jars of mustard and had all of us taste-test them right at the bar. Love that! And he mentioned that he thought I'd be a good bzzAgent - so yeah, I'm working on it.

Anyway - through that service I found this:

Ok, I think this website Visit is hilarious.

Basically its some 20-something artists who sell paintings of things they want for the price of what the item would cost.

So you can get a painting of a slice of pizza for a couple bucks.

Or a painting of an iPhone for a lot more.

How much does a painting of washboard abs cost?

Visit the site to find out.

Clay Aiken is not gay... he will just be playing it on stage.

In a shockingly bold career move, Clay Aiken will be heading to Broadway. It appears that he has landed the role of Sir Robin in Spamalot... the gay one. The funnier part of this story is the picture that the article used.

Which we know is bullshit... he looks like this:

He might want to vacation in South Beach before heading to New York... if you know what I mean.

Thanks to Doug for the tip!

Oh Meredith... don't worry, we were all thinking it.

Methodists = Funny

One day, if I'm lucky, my timing will be that good... because you see, I'm a Methodist too and Methodists are funny, as you can see here.

Methodists know how to do it...

I love this SO hard... and Jesus loves it too.
This is totally something that would happen at my hometown church on a Sunday afternoon after the eggbake brunch and before the afternoon bazaar and ice cream social.

Tom Ford... I'm speechless.

See what I mean... here. (NSFW)

Star Wars Trumpet

I'm not sure if the sounds are coming from her trumpet or her 'gina.
I'm talking mainly about the droid sounds.

Sweet Jesus I love this.

Oh Harry....

I don't know what it is, but Harry Potter... hot!

Marc's New Boyfriend

Let's hear it for the cute, sweet, non-chiseled, gays! It's about time they got some TV exposure.

so I was ready for the quirky show, and for La Chenoweth - but I hadn't read that Swoosie Kurtz and Ellen Greene were in it too.

NEW BLOG: I know how it is...

As some of you may remember, I had a very short lived advise podcast called, "I know how it is..." It was a lot of fun, but took too long to produce and it just kinda fizzled. Well, because I still have the domain, ( I decided to turn it into a blog. So, if you can't get enough of my two cents, check it out... (probably more political/opinion based than my posts here)

I know how it is...

I love teenagers...

So, I was at the Target today and saw this...
I love teenagers. :)

You are on thin ice with me Rosie! THIN ICE!

I'm just going to say this... feel free to disagree, but I think Rosie needs to leave Babs Walters the f*ck alone. Ever since she left The View, on her own accord mind you, she has been nothing but "sour grapes" and I'm getting sick of it! If you want to go after Elizabeth... fine, she has it coming, but Barbara? She was nothing but class during the transition and nothing but supportive (or, at least, never spoke ill) of Rosie. I'm just saying... Read this article and know what I'm talking about... (UPDATED: and this from her own site, sour grapes!) I mean really, show some class Ro...

P.S.- I love Whoopi on The View, I think it's a good fit. Thoughts?

Sweeney Todd TRAILER!

Check it out here. LOOKS GOOD!

High School Musical... in reality.

My 10 year high school reunion is coming up and so I went back to the old high school website and found this...

I'm the one in the blue... it was my senior year and I was playing King Arthur in Camelot. What is really funny about this picture is that in the show, I wore a fake beard because I couldn't grow a real one, but for the pictures we left it off because it looked to fake... as opposed to the painted staircase behind me.

I miss that weight... I really do.

OK, so I want to see your high school musical production pictures. Send them to and we will post them up!

Halloween This Year?

I'm stumped as to what to wear this year for Halloween.

Of course I'm thinking about reprising Little Edie - since this year people might actually have a clue who I am.

Isn't this an awesome picture of Edie? This was taken years after the film and I believe after Big Edie's death.
This picture appeared in PEOPLE magazine with an article about her nightclub act at Reno Sweeney's.

Ryan Phillippe on One Life to Live... gay.

I love his hair the most...

So... Clay Aiken... you remember him, right?
Of course you do...

Well, here he is today...And here he is in 20 years....
Bringing Sexy Back... aren't you, big guy?

Keith... thinking of nothing but murder all day

Here is my cat Keith... yes, I baby talk to him and as you can clearly see, he likes it.
